Back in the winter of 2013 I started my Facebook page and all for the wrong reasons, because I wanted to be like all those book blogs that I started following. I didn't even know Facebook book pages/blogs were a thing. Karen Marie Moning is one of my favorite authors of all time. One day she or the person that helps run her author page posted about this book page, I think it was called Erotica Book Blog, the blog Amelia Hutchings helped run. Since then, I started following over 100 pages, talk about clog feed.
Out of the blue I thought, "Hey, I can do that too!! I love books, I can do this." Haha, how silly was I to think that way. All I was doing in the first few months were share posts from authors I never heard of, and book blogs. Having my own website? I was scared, I didn't have money to buy a blog, then I found out that I could blog for me. Research? No, why it seems easy enough. Haha. I was so naive back then.
Can you see how this blog was doomed from the beginning? I never blog about the books I read or what I want to talk about. As for as I know (even now), that my readers, those that read my blog, likes romance and erotica. I'm just now starting getting into romance. Every once in a while I will blog about the books I read.
Lately, I've been following bookish lifestyle blogs, and I see that's what I want. I want to talk about my desires on wanting to become an author. But I dug myself into this huge hole and I don't know what to do. Do I continue blogging just about books? I have a following, small I guess you would say compared to other blogs out there. I don't want to lose my readers to start all over again. You can say that's what's holding me back from deleting and starting all over again.
Weebly is nice and easy to use. I'm no where near tech savvy and I get easily lost. Downside to that is me wanting to be a professional blogger. So I have to go to Wordpress, everyone recommends Wordpress and I see the benefits from having one. But Wordpress costs money, hosting costs money, and having a clean theme costs money. All of which I don't have. I take pictures with my crappy android phone and try to make them somewhat decent on Picmonkey.
I don't know where to go from here or what to do with my blog. But for right now, I keep it and just do want I'm doing now.
