Enter Tuesday Talks. I will be discussing books I'm currently reading, books I finished reading, books I plan on reading, books I purchased, miscellaneous things, and one fact about me. For miscellaneous things it would be a blog post(s) that I liked and YouTube videos that I love.
Lets get started shall we?
I'm finally getting to the second book in The Parasol Protectorate series by Gail Carriger. I really don't know why it took me so long to get to it, seeing how I liked the first one. I just started this late last night, because who needs sleep when you need to be up at 6:30? I'm only 30 pages in so I didn't do any real damage.
I purchased A Court of Thorns and Roses some time late last year, wanting to start the series so I won't have to play catch up, like I have to do with her Throne of Glass series (oh boy). I also started reading this now because the next book comes out in May and I wanted to see if I like before I pre-order it, because I'm a sucker for pre-order campaigns.
These are the books I'm planning on reading for the week, possibly the weekend.
A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro: I finished this up this past weekend. So I should have a review coming up for this. It came in the mail as a surprise to me because I didn't enter a giveaway for an arc or contacted the publishers. It just came in the mail and if you heard a loud screech, that was me, because I was looking forward towards this book and it didn't disappoint me.
Packages I'm waiting on: My Sephora order, I purchased the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Hand Cream, and the Tarte: Rainforest of the Sea Skin Savers kit
One Fact About Me
I'm addicted to skin care. Mainly because I suck so bad at doing my makeup, that I decided to have a good canvas instead. I'm only good at putting on foundation and semi-decent at putting on lipstick. Even with YouTube I'm still not good at it. But as the saying goes, "Practice makes perfect."
Not that much for my first Tuesday Talks, but it's a working process. I really want to know what you're currently reading and one fact about you.
