1. Sin & Suffer by Pepper Winters: First physical book of the year and I was slightly disappointed, not because I thought this was the first book in the series, but because of a scene that I couldn't get passed. It was a 3 star rating for me. You can read more about it in my review.
2. Eleanor by Jason Gurley: Will be in my 2016 favorites. It was such a beautiful read that had me in tears and made me want to hug the main character and tell her that it will be alright. You can read all about my feels in my review.
3. Soulless by Gail Carriger: 4.5 stars
I first started reading this in the beginning of December and out it down. I couldn't get passed the first 50 pages because it was moving slow and nothing much was happening. I began re-reading it again and I still couldn't get passed the first 50, but I finally pushed through and was rewarded with an amazing book.
I loved everything about this book, I can't even tell you who my favorite character was because I love them all. Okay, maybe, Lord Akeldama.
This is one of my favorite books of this year, and may become one of my favorite series.
1 & 2. Bad Boy's Baby and Hard by Sosie Frost: When I purchased Bad Boy's Baby, Hard was included in it for a limited deal. While I like Bad Boy's Baby I really couldn't get into Hard. The main female character in Hard was so annoying with her constant complaining that it put me off from it.
Bad Boy's Baby: 3.5 stars Hard: 2 stars Review
3. The McShannons Series: Complete Boxset by Veronica Maxim: This was a big fat nope from me. I couldn't continue on with the rest of the box set. The writing and the character wasn't for me.
That's all for now. What books did you read in January?
